How to make a TikTok slideshow with AI
SendShort makes TikTok photo slideshows from a format. A format is a saved recipe: the topic, the hooks, the writing voice, the images and the posting times. You make the format once. Then AI writes new posts from it. Open Slideshows in the sidebar to start.
1. Pick a template
Click New slideshow. Pick one of 12 templates, for example Habits that stuck, Money simply, Study smarter or Science facts. You can also start from a format that you saved before.
2. Edit the format
Change the topic, hooks, style, images and schedule in the format tabs. To change many things at once, type your request "in plain English" in the AI box.
3. Create posts
Click Create posts and choose 1, 2, 3 or 5 posts. Each post takes about a minute. Turn on "Add to the queue" to queue the posts at once.
4. Review and post to TikTok
Open each post. Approve and queue it, or use quick edit: rewrite a slide, try a new hook, pick a different image or delete a slide. Undo and redo are there if you change your mind.
What you can set in a slideshow format
A format has seven tabs: Overview, Text, Style, Images, Schedule, TikTok and Settings. These are the main options.
Text
Write the topic ("What are the posts about?"), the voice and the writing rules. Add hooks, one per line. SendShort uses them in rotation, and AI writes a hook when the list is empty. Choose the slides per post, the layout (Standard, Dual captions or Numbered steps), one of 12 languages and a closing slide with your call to action.
Style
Set one style for the first slide and one for the other slides. Pick from 12 fonts, such as TikTok Sans, Anton, Montserrat, Playfair and Pacifico. Choose the text size (S, M or L) and a caption preset: Classic, TikTok box, Dark box, Hook, Strong, Typewriter or Neon.
Images
Use stock photos from Pexels or your own image collections. Add a darkening layer so the text stays easy to read. Your own uploads need Professional or Business.
Schedule
Set daily posting times and your time zone. Turn on "Review posts before they are scheduled" to check every post first.
TikTok
Pick the TikTok account. AI writes the title, a short description and 3–5 hashtags. Choose who can view the post and whether people can comment, duet or stitch. You can also "Send to TikTok as a draft".
Where SendShort slideshows post
Slideshows post to TikTok only, as photo posts. SendShort can post them directly, or send them to TikTok as drafts so you can finish them in the TikTok app.
To use the slides somewhere else, click Download ZIP. You get the images of the post, and you can post them yourself. SendShort does not post slideshows to Instagram or other platforms.
Videos are different: the SendShort scheduler posts videos to TikTok and YouTube from one content calendar.
Automate TikTok slideshows with a series
Click Automate with a series on the Slideshows page. A "TikTok slideshows" series makes a new photo post from your format for every time slot. You choose how often it posts: once, twice or 3 times a day. Slideshows that a series makes do not count toward your weekly limit.
Series need the Professional plan ($29/month) or Business. Professional has 2 series and Business has up to 10. Read the Automated Series page or the step-by-step TikTok slideshow guide.

No. SendShort posts slideshows to TikTok only, as photo posts. To use the slides on another platform, click Download ZIP to get the images, then post them yourself.

Starter and Professional can make 10 slideshows a week. Business has unlimited slideshows. Slideshows that a series makes do not count toward the weekly limit.
Can I use my own images?
Yes. In the Images tab, pick stock photos from Pexels or your own image collections. Your own uploads need the Professional or Business plan.
Which languages can a slideshow use?
12 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Russian and Chinese. Set the language in the Text tab of the format.
How many slides should a TikTok slideshow have?
You choose the number of slides per post in the Text tab. The app notes that 3–4 slides get the most completions.
