Webhooks for Zapier, Make and n8n
A webhook sends a signed HTTP request to your URL when an event happens. Use it to start a Zap, a Make scenario or an n8n workflow.
- In Zapier, Make or n8n, add a webhook trigger and copy its URL.
- In SendShort, open Settings → Preferences → Webhooks. Add the URL and pick the events. You can also use
POST /api/v1/webhooks. - Send a test event (
webhook.test) to check the connection.

- Requests are signed with Standard Webhooks headers.
- A failed delivery is retried 7 times over about 42 hours.
- You can have up to 25 webhooks. The event log keeps the last 30 days (
GET /api/v1/events).
To start a SendShort job from Zapier or Make, send an HTTP request to the API with the header Authorization: Bearer ss_sk_….

Which SendShort integration should I use?
Use the AI Agent (MCP) to work in a chat with Claude, ChatGPT or Grok Bot. Use the REST API to call SendShort from your own code. Use n8n to build workflows without code. Use webhooks to start a step in Zapier, Make or n8n when a job finishes.
Is there a SendShort app on Zapier or Make?
Use webhooks. Add a webhook in SendShort with the URL that Zapier or Make gives you, and pick the events. To start a SendShort job from Zapier or Make, send an HTTP request to the REST API with your API key.
Which plan do the integrations need?
All integrations need Professional ($29/month) or Business. Your plan quotas and Credits apply, the same as in the app.
Can integrations post to Instagram or Facebook?
No. Integrations schedule shorts to TikTok and YouTube, and slideshows to TikTok as photo posts. For other platforms, download the video and post it yourself.
Can I make slideshows or faceless videos through an integration?
No. Make slideshows, faceless videos and AI avatars in the SendShort app. Integrations can list slideshows and schedule them, and can import, clip, make music videos and schedule shorts.
