Connect SendShort to ChatGPT

Open Apps & Connectors
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Custom connectors can need developer mode. If you do not see the option to create a connector, turn developer mode on first.

Create the connector
Create a connector. Paste the SendShort server URL and choose OAuth for sign-in.

Sign in and allow
A SendShort page opens. Sign in, check the app name and click Allow.

Start a chat and paste a link to a video that you own or have the rights to use.
You use your SendShort account. You do not need an API key for ChatGPT.

No SendShort tool makes slideshows, faceless videos or AI avatars. Make those in the SendShort app. The agent can list your slideshows and schedule them to TikTok. Scheduling works with TikTok and YouTube only. For other platforms, download the MP4 and post it yourself.
Plan and limits
From Professional ($29/month). The AI Agent and the API are on the Professional and Business plans. Starter does not include them.
Limits: 120 requests a minute, shared with the API. Your plan quotas apply, the same as in the app. Credits pay for use past the quota: for example, 12 Credits for an imported short and 30 for a music video. See pricing.
Access: To stop access, open Settings → Preferences → Connected apps in SendShort and disconnect the app. Read the privacy policy.
Questions about SendShort in ChatGPT
Can ChatGPT make videos with SendShort?
Yes. ChatGPT sends the request, and SendShort does the video work. It can clip a long video into captioned shorts and make 9:16 music videos of up to 60 seconds.
Why can't I see the option to create a connector?
Custom connectors can need developer mode in ChatGPT's settings. Turn it on, then go back to Settings → Apps & Connectors.
Which SendShort plan do I need?
The AI Agent is on the Professional plan ($29/month) and the Business plan. Starter does not include it. See pricing.
Can ChatGPT make faceless videos or AI avatars with SendShort?
No. The connector has no tool for faceless videos, slideshows or AI avatars. Make those in the SendShort app. ChatGPT can list your slideshows and schedule them to TikTok.
Can ChatGPT post to Instagram?
No. Scheduling works with TikTok and YouTube. For other platforms, download the MP4 and post it there.
How do I disconnect ChatGPT?
In SendShort, open Settings → Preferences → Connected apps and disconnect ChatGPT. You can also remove the connector in ChatGPT.
